Antalya, a city located on the Mediterranean coast in southwestern Turkey, is a popular travel destination for its historical significance and natural beauty. This bustling city is also known as the Turkish Riviera, due to its crystal-clear waters and beautiful sandy beaches. Antalya has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. Founded by King Attalus II of Pergamon, the city has seen various civilizations leave their mark throughout the centuries. The Old Town, known as Kaleiçi, is one of the most popular tourist attractions. This well-preserved historical area is surrounded by ancient city walls and features narrow cobblestone streets and Ottoman-era buildings.

The Antalya Museum offers an impressive collection of archaeological artifacts from the Paleolithic to the Ottoman period. The Düden Waterfalls are another fascinating natural attraction in Antalya. The upper waterfall is located in the northeast of the city and drops from a height of 115 feet.
