Girona is a picturesque city located in the northeast of Catalonia, Spain, situated on the banks of the river Onyar. The city bears a rich cultural legacy, with roots dating back to the Roman Era, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain because of its unique blend of historical and modernity.
