Gurgaon - Information
Gurgaon is a rapidly growing city located in the northern state of Haryana in India. With close proximity to the capital city of New Delhi, it is a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers. The city is also known as Gurugram, which is derived from the fact that it was once home to the famous sage, Guru Dronacharya. It has a rich history that dates back to the ancient times. The city was known as Guru-gram, meaning the village of the Guru. It was believed to have been established by the Rajputs in the 9th century. Gurgaon was later ruled by various dynasties including the Mughals, the Marathas, and the British.
The Sultanpur National Park is on a list of the most interesting historical sites in Gurgaon.
