Sun Devil Stadium, located in Tempe, Arizona, is a must-visit attraction for any football lover, as it serves as the home for the Arizona State University football team. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 53,000 and has hosted numerous championship events, including two Super Bowls. The stadium has also been the location for concerts from famous artists such as Metallica and U2. Sun Devil Stadium used to have a natural grass field until 1975 when it was replaced with an artificial surface. However, in 2015 it was replaced once again with natural grass. Another interesting fact is that the stadium was once home to the Arizona Cardinals before they moved to their current location in Glendale. Visitors to Sun Devil Stadium can take a guided tour of the facility to learn about its history and see behind-the-scenes areas such as the locker rooms and press box.
